“The Place Changes Me” comes from my time as an American living in India. Random people on the Internet would ask for photos. I didn’t want to show my real name when I shared them, so I made an Instagram with a username that described how I felt knowing my time in India would change me for the better—The Place Changes Me. Now I’m living in Australia. Living here is changing me for the better again.
